Dear friends and family,
Thank you so much for your prayers and donations for last week's trip. We had an uneventful trip, as much as that is possible while travelling with Nathan.
No matter which airport we were at, 4 airports in 3 different countries, he was always "randomly" selected to be searched, even multiple times in the same airport. This made it for funny traveling.
It was a very productive trip. Even though we only had a few of us a lot of work got done. We filled with dirt and poured cement for the landing and first step to the maintenance/office building you see here in the pictures on the right. We also opened up a hole for the plumbing with a jackhammer for the bathroom in the shop side of the building. Some other projects were done but the best part of the trip and probably what made it most productive was being able to see and hear….
What I mean by that is I was able to walk the property with the current director, Danny Valett, and hear all about it. What has happened in the last year since he has been there and what the camp board envisions happening in the years to come. I learned a lot about the ministry there, the people, the town and culture.
Something that was very encouraging was that Danny went out promoting the camp a little bit this past year. We saw some of the fruit of that already with this past May's men retreat. In the past their average was under 20 but this past year they had 44 men come. With the camp just outside of a town of 90,000 people we realize how many more can be reached.
Prayer Requests:
1. Prayer for a response like we see in Jonah 3:5-8.
2. Pray that our support continues to increase.
Praise:
1. The Lord provided just over $15,000 for the building project.
2. Safe trip and helpful insights into our future ministry there.
In Him,

Bruno & Audrey Couto |
